Meloneras is a new up-market
resort close to the well known resorts of Maspalomas and
Playa del Inglés, which are only a short taxi ride away.
Meloneras offers several exclusive four and five star hotels,
excellent restaurants and great shopping.
The Lopesan
Boulevard El Faro shopping centre is one of the best centres in
Gran Canaria offering first class boutiques and a good
array of restaurants and bars.
The beach in Meloneras
Playa Meloneras is about
500 metres long and quite wide. The sand is mixed
with small stones. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired on a
daily basis.
There is a small beach promenade
at Playa Meloneras. Here you will find some 5-6 restaurants and
a few supermarkets at
the ground plan of the Playa Meloneras Shopping
Center.
However, most holidaymakers head for the more popular beach in
nearby Maspalomas.

Italian and Chinese restaurants. Most of them are found on the
promenade and in the shopping centres.
There are some bars in the
shopping centres. More exciting
nightlife is found in nearby Playa del Ingles.

An evening at the Casino where you can see the Legends Cabaret
Show is a very popular event. After the show you can try your
luck at slot machines, the roulette or the gaming tables.
For the golf players, Meloneras
offers a new 18 hole golf course with a breathtaking view to the
ocean.

family are found in Maspalomas and
Playa del Inglés.
